2nd grade.  Hmmm.  Harry Truman was President.  There were probably two 2nd grade sections.

1st grade with SM???

Pretty sure that through the windows on the right side of the picture you're seeing a part of the old frame rectory building, the eaves above the porch.  The windows would otherwise overlook Northwest Highway, probably in January.  So this section  held class on the upper floor of the building.  You don't see any traffic on the street?  Hah!  Of course not ... this was 1950! But notice those gorgeous elm trees. Dutch elm disease was still 30 years in the future.

There was (at least) one more 1st grade section.
